Meet our New London veterinarians and team here!

Hello HVC Family,
Since the COVID-19 process began in March we have striven to comply with all of the Gubernatorial mandates. We have also done our best to balance returning to normal with the health risks to our clients and community.
As most of you are aware HVC has not mandated mask wearing in our building for our clients. We felt that our clients have the freedom to choose whether to wear a mask and that they were able to assess the risks on their own. After some concern and a lot of positive feedback we feel that our reopening process has proved effective. However, this decision has now been taken out of our hands.
Last night Governor Reynolds mandated that all citizens who are in doors and not able to social distance for more than 15min are required to wear masks. As all of you know, there is simply no room for social distancing inside our clinic.
In an effort to keep our doors open, as of today, 11/17/20, HVC will require that masks be worn by all staff and clients who enter our facility. We will remove this mandate as soon as we are able but until that time, we ask that you please help us follow our mandates in accordance with the Governor’s proclamation.
We realize that there are clients that are fiercely for and against a mask mandate. To those of you who are against a mask mandate; we understand your position. HVC, until now, has resisted mandating any protocols as we believe in personal freedom and personal responsibility. However, we also must comply with the Gubernatorial proclamation if we wish to stay open. We ask for your patience and grace in helping us do so. To those of you who feel this is not far enough; we understand your position as well. HVC has made concessions and alternative appointment options available to all our clients and will continue to do so.
As always, the Doctors and staff at HVC are here for you and your fur family. We have and will continue to be here when you need us. We will remain open and serving our clients with our normal schedule.
HVC will, as we’ve done since this process began, have masks and gloves available at the front door to those who need or would like to use them. We will also continue to offer our curbside service to all who request it.
Thank you all for your grace and patience in this matter. We will get through this in short order.
Thank you
Dr. Drish and the HVC Staff
